オンライン予約法

This train can now (as of 2018) be booked online at www.trainline.eu (easy to use, accepts overseas payment cards no problem) or the Austrian Railways site www.oebb.at (same prices, but a bit more fiddly) with print-your-own tickets, but you must physically print the ticket on A4 or letter size paper, it cannot be shown on a smartphone screen.

Tip: If using www.trainline.eu and no sleepers appear, click Semi-flex at the top instead of Cheapest. If using oebb.at and it says Please choose a different service when trying to select a couchette or sleeper, scroll back up to the fares section, click More services and select the higher-priced fare instead of the cheapest sparschiene price. It means couchettes and/or sleepers are no longer available in conjunction with the cheapest sparschiene rates.

Alternatively, you can book through reliable booking agency www.polrail.com - their booking system is at http://booking.polrail.com. You can then collect tickets in Warsaw. Polrail always shows full price, but tell me they will offer the cheap advance-purchase fares if they find them available.
