先ほど気がついたのですが、早割り（saver fare、savings fare、sparpreis）購入期限が「一日前」となっていました。

実際にチケット検索を行うと「翌日分の早割り」でも購入できます（検索結果画面に表示される）。
また、ある区間の一検索結果ですが、翌日分の金額は2ヶ月先のチケットの金額より高くなっていました。
（直前に買う方が高くなる傾向は従前どおり存在していると思われます。）
これまでは早割りチケットの購入期限は「3日前」と認識しておりましたが、私の認識がそもそも違っておったのか、あるときから規定が変更になったのか、正確には定かではありませんが、われわれ利用者にとってはメリットが高と思います。
既知の事実あるいは私の誤認であったのなら、タイトル名等謹んでお詫び申し上げます。
また、よく話題になりうる「早割りチケットの変更/キャンセル」ですが、ドイツ鉄道公式サイトにはっきりと規定が書かれています。
事実から言えば、時期を問わず手数料（および 普通運賃 との差額）を払えば、早割りチケットの変更/キャンセルは可能です。
